O Christmas Tree
Ok, I don't have a houseful of Christmas decorations like some Martha Stewart wannabes... just kidding... cause I'd really like to do more holiday decorating but I'm too cheap!
Pictured is the Diego dressed as Santa ornament that my three year old picked out. and below is a picture of our lovely tree. I think it needs something. I'm not sure what, but something. Anyway, there you go, thats about the extent of our holiday decor. But I'm open to suggestions if you have any frugal decorating ideas! Thanks!
Thats what its all about:

We make a lot of our ornaments.. one great one is applesauce and cinnamon ornaments.. you mix applesauce with cinnamon until it resembles cookie dough, roll it out, cut with any sort of cookie cutter, poke a hole at the top, let them dry (about 24 hours) then you can decorate if desired or just hang on your tree.. they look cool and smell delicous!! Plus it is easy for the kids to help with!!
I wanted to tell you that Better Homes and Gardens did a holiday issue that is in stores now. One of their trees was decorated with paper decorations, they might have some of the layouts on their website also. I do not buy very many decorations either except at hobby lobby when they mark them down by 90%!
I think you did a great job...and any tree isn't complete without Dora...
Tinsel. It's inexpensive and oh-so-pretty *if* applied correctly. Tiny amounts draped lightly (oh so lightly) over the branches add lots of sparkle. Two boxes would be enough. Btw, I think ALL Christmas trees look beautiful, just like all infants and all brides. Love it.
Blessings,
~Toni~
